Over the last couple of weeks, the Grove has begun a journey into full inclusion of the LGBTQ community
We have announced that we fully affirm and celebrate same-gender loving and life-giving relationships in the same way we would affirm and celebrate opposite-gender loving and life-giving relationships. This church will not teach that homosexuality is inherently sinful nor does holy scripture teach it as so.
But instead, scripture teaches us that all are created in the image of God and that we are called to love one another. And although we are not called to judge one another we are given an idea of what it looks like to follow Jesus and to live according to his way. Which is fleshed out in the fruit that it produces.

We acknowledge that not everyone in this room is in full agreement on inclusion and affirmation but we are all committed to listening and leading with love and erring on the side of grace.
